As the next release seems to be talking longer than expected, I’m releasing 0.1.4 to address the uudecoder problem which should have been done months ago. This release also includes a few other fixes.

Welldone!
I thought this project was stopped.Glad to see an update.
thanks you very much for all your effords.
Thanks a lot! This is what I need to switch to KDE.
I found this app by chance, its AWSOME!..
i use win32 and linux verions, both are nice
Great work so far with this program! I have a couple of suggestions that would make this the perfect app for me:
1. When sorting, put .rar files first (before .r00, .r01, etc…) . This way I can start decoding a movie and play it right away (using VLC) while the other rar parts download.
2. Automatically uncheck .PAR2 files from the queue. They just eat up unnecessary bandwidth. I can manually select them later if I need to.
Keep up the good work!
help. i downloaded nzb and set it up with correct options, but it gives me code 430 article not found errors, even if the nzb file works fine in other newsreaders.
The only thing that comes to mind is that your newsgroup provider doesn’t support getting by message-id without first selecting the group. I should try to add that feature in the next version, as it is quite trivial.
2 feature requests:
1. automatic par checking. this is the main reason i’m still with nget despite it being a resource hog.
2. nzb file creation ability. don’t know of any foss app that does this so it’d be good to have. if there is such an app please let me know!
I randomly get an ‘Integer division by zero.’ error and the client crashes. It happens a lot, but I can’t seem to do anything specific that will cause this.
So using the same .nzb again will not result in the same error (at the same time)?
Hi there,
Great project and i looks very nice indeed, at the moment i love the program NZB-o-Matic Plus http://www.bunnyhug.net/nomp/ (it is written in .Dotnet) and also a free opensource project. But it has very nice features but also a few bugs, if you can upgrade this program with the features of this program or if you could extent the program by fixing the bug, the perfect nzb downloader is near.
Greetings and looking forward to the next release.
Great work, I was looking for a tool like for a while.
Keep up the good work, I left some ideas in your sourceforge “Feature Request”.
Thanks
This software is soo buggy… after a year of development and all it does is randomly segfault.. use nzbpower from freshmeat.net. built using qt and actually works for XP!!
